How can I play Borderlands 2 with Hamachi on Mac?

I have Borderlands 2 on my Mac, I need to play with a friend using Hamachi, but I can't connect with him. I've read that in Windows you have to copy the IP of the "hoster" after the shortcut that runs the game. How do I do that on Mac?
