How does the Oculus Rift affect TF2 gameplay?

I've seen multiple videos of the OR in action in Team Fortress 2, but I'm very confused as to how you control it and/or how it could positively/negatively impact gameplay.

To those who have used the OR in TF2, what are some definite gameplay-changers that you've seen? Does it give a significant advantage/disadvantage over non-OR players?
